Mark is General Manager of New Zealand’s Aviation Security Service. Prior to this he served for 38 years in the New Zealand Defence Force, retiring as a Brigadier General. Military roles included Assistant Chief of Defence Force (Personnel), and Land Component Commander. Mark is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors. Mark holds Master’s degrees in both Philosophy from Massey University and Arts (Strategic Studies) from Deakin University, Melbourne.

He has attended the Royal Military College of Science Shrivenham,UK and is a De Bono corporate creativity and innovation instructor.His responsibilities include coordination of green chemistry and engineering for NFT.

Neil leads Elements HSC with extensive leadership experience in the global hotel industry, including a notable four year tenure as CEO and co-owner of the premium luxury company Per Aquum Retreats and Resorts. Prior to this, Neil’s 25-year career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts included Senior Vice President-Operations for the Asia Pacific Division.He was exceedingly successful in managing the company’s hotel operations and portfolio development throughout Asia Pacific.
